the brief
This Is Anfield are wrapping up the 2018/19 season with their overall player ratings. Each player needs a supporting graphic that stands out and gives a visual respresnetation of their overall performance for the year.
execution
It was important to make sure each graphic had all the key information that would make a reader stop and and look when scrolling through. It was clear that we needed to have the player front and centre, but surrounding them with a graph that showed their performance throughout the season. Putting this against a modern LFC red gradient map from the provided photography ensured this fit right in on the TIA website.
result
A clean set of images that elevated and supported the written article. Adding some flair, function and vibrancy that would help draw eyes in.
