the brief

RYVITA are launching the latest variant in the recently developed 'SNACK IT' range. The Prawn Cocktail variant not only needs to stand out in the exsisitng range, but RYVITA is taking the opportunity to build on the original structure and ensure the 'SNACK IT' sub brand stands out more on shelf following it's initial success.

To esnure that the 'SNACK IT' sub brand became a greater focus in the hierarchy, an overhaul of the front of pack design was required. 'THINS' was removed to clearly seperate from the core range and give more space for 'SNACK IT' to leap off the pack. The previously used 'Black Diamond' script font needed to be replaced with something with some more punch and legibility. A new custom wordmark tied into modern snacking design trends, showing that this was something new and exciting for RYVITA — something that doesn't require dips or anything more than what comes in the box to become the perfect pairing with a movie, drinks with friends or any situation you need a quick and easy snack.

After developing a strong and punchy pink that aligned with the usual Prawn Cocktail visual cues, a simple supporting prawn icon and my teams work to build fun and contemporary supporting visual assets meant that Prawn Cocktail popped off the shelves on launch and helped steer the new future of the RYVITA 'SNACK IT' sub brand — for 'THINS' and everything else in the future.
