"I want an apple and I want it to be happy". 10/10 brief, no notes. A logo for a local business just needs to stand out and look more professional than the competition, it's always a bonus when I have free reign to do whatever from a straightforward brief. That approach allows me to support friends and family for as little cost as possible.
execution
The margins between the taxi company people hire in a small town are razor thin, so something unique and memorable that stood out on a car in town was the main objective. How many red and green taxi brands do you see? Following a singular round of feedback: "make the apple even happier", this was a quick turnaround and a very happy customer. When someone knows what they want and trusts me to deliver, that's the perfect brief.
